Whether you do aerial as a hobby or as a career, chances are at some point all the spinning has made you feel dizzy! I recently wrote a blog post about How to Deal with Dizziness and one of the best ways is to use ginger. Ginger has long been raved about as a way to help combat motion sickness and nausea, you can either eat candied ginger or drink ginger tea.

Benefits

Along with helping to prevent motion sickness, drinking ginger tea has a whole host of other benefits. A hot mug of ginger tea is an invigorating start to the day. It has high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants to help ward off a cold and has soothing properties to ease a poorly tummy. It is also known for its anti-inflammatory effects which make it a great at home remedy for sore muscles and joints. The fiery ginger is warming on a cold morning and is a caffeine free alternative to coffee or tea.

Recipe

Using fresh ginger root is much tastier and more powerful than a teabag, and it's so quick and easy to make! The honey is optional for taste, you can also use lemon.

Ingredients

  • 1 mug water
  • 2 inches fresh ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon honey to taste (optional)

Steps

  • Peal and thinly slice the ginger.
  • Boil the water and pour into the mug.
  • Add the ginger to the water.
  • Leave to steep for 5 minutes.
  • Sweeten with honey to taste.

I hope you enjoy making this ginger tea, be sure to tag me on social media so I can see!

Be unique,
